If you need to create an Extended Producer Responsibility Report for a specific country or classification, filter on the “AMAZON_MARKETPLACE” and “EPR_CATEGORY” columns.

6. What is the difference between primary packaging and secondary packaging?

Primary packaging is a unit of packaging used to wrap goods, such as a branded box for a pair of shoes or an aluminum can for a soft drink.

9. Are returns excluded from reporting?

FBA returns are not excluded from reporting but are deducted from the number of units sold because Amazon’s method determines whether an item is returned via FBA.

In contrast, seller-fulfilled returns are not excluded from reporting and are not deducted from the number of units sold because the items must be returned through your own fulfillment channel.

10. Can you provide Amazon with accurate information about the product’s extended producer responsibility classification, primary packaging materials, product weight, or other attributes?

The Extended Producer Responsibility Report is generated from the information in the catalog, but you can update the relevant values for the item. Changes will be reflected in the next reporting cycle.

Data is aggregated at the ASIN level. Multiple seller SKUs can have the same ASIN.
